					<description>Brother Askia:

Get in touch with me as soon as possible! You and I share, at this point, very nearly 50 years of history going back to Los Angeles, to the Herald Examiner, to the Scholastic Sports Assn. with Ralph Alexander, Stan Sanders, Rusell Moore, Clint Wilson and, beyond that, your early work with Muhammad Speaks (whcih I remember well and very much appluad you for even now, these many year slater!).

It would be wonderful if you were able to be in Los Angeles at anytime this Spring semester where I could have you as a guest lecturer at Cal State University Northridge where I am in my 26th year, am an Associate Professor of Pan African Studies, Director of the PAS Writing Program but, more to the point now, teaching an upper divison PAS course titled Mass Cmmunications in the African American Community where I would love to have you speak! Let's please explore that.

But for right now, I want to say Happy New Year. My best to you, your wife, family and loved ones. Where you get the time, please, checkout my webpage "Safe Haven" for some idea of what I am doing, and about. Lastly, I love what you have to say and I am going to copy it to my colleagues in the PAS Department here at Northridge, themselves a conservative (though they wouldn't ever want to say it aloud) group who take pride in referring to themselves as "Field Negores."

Yours in the Struggle,
